2018 -2019 Fund Raiser for new Ambulances

New Medic Rigs coming in late 2018

The Fertile Paramedics are replacing two of their ambulances that have reached the end of their useful service life.  Medic 14, a 1992 ambulance and Medic 15 a 1999 ambulance are being replaced in the next month by two modern ambulances built by Braun Ambulance Corporation.

County Emergency Medical Services, the non-profit charitable organization operated by the Fertile Paramedics relies on donations for a critical part of its funding.  Contributions to County EMS are tax-deductible according to state and federal law.

Donations to County EMS are used for education, training, and providing 9-1-1 emergency ambulance service to the area.  This particular fund drive is raising money to help pay for the two new ambulances and the high tech mobile intensive care unit equipment that goes into them that are used to help hundreds of people each year.  County EMS does not have a hospital in its service area making high quality and reliable critical care transportation to one of the area’s hospitals so important.  The availability of such a service adds to the quality of life here in rural Minnesota.

Your contribution is important to the continuing success of this service.
